Sharat Limited.

Sharat Limited realised the best way to help our local community was to create jobs for people within the community. We therefore set an ambitious 5 year strategic plan which involved 500 jobs in 5 years. We are on our way to achieving this goal as over the past 18 months we have helped 66 people into either employment or future study. (see Strategic Plan).


In July 2011 we formed Sharat Limited we are a community minded company. The primary focus of Sharat Limited (which includes Grassroots lawn mowing and gardening services) is community development through economic development providing training and jobs for people who live within the Tamaki area (this includes Glen Innes and Panmure).

Bob Wakefield - Manager

Bob Wakefield
Bob has been an advocate and developer in community for 34 years. His roles in community organsiations, business, church and economic development programmes have given him the insight and abilities to foster and enable the positive change within the Tamaki area.

Chris Wakefield - Admin

Christine is a Registered Tax agent, completes key accountancy and tax work for Sharat Limited and its other initiatives. With 13 years experience in accountancy Chris provides the required reporting for all end of year financial records.

Jo Wieland - Advisor

Jo Wieland
Jo, Human Resources MA, of Psychology, member of NZAPT, SDI Regional Director of Asia-Pacific Is a trained Psychologist, counsellor and provides professional supervision.
