Sharat Limited is a community minded company

  • The Yellow Submarine

    Provides experience for those wanting to get into the food hospitality industry. They learn about food preparation, hygiene and customer service skills on the job. The Yellow Submarine is located in Shop 10 Mayfair Place in the Glen Innes shopping centre.
  • Sells Latitude Six coffee which supports the community of papua new guinea. Employs 5 women from the community of Tamaki.
  • Grassroots Gardening

    Gardening, lawn-mowing and general home maintenance. Grassroots has a contract for some Housing New Zealand properties. Grassroots currently employs 10 people, 9 of these are residents of Tamaki.

  • Sharat Limited realised the best way to help our local community was to create jobs for people within the community. We therefore set an ambitious 5 year strategic plan which involved 500 jobs in 5 years. We are on our way to achieving this goal as over the past 18 months we have helped 66 people into either employment or future study

    Run The Yellow Submarine for economic sustainability and duplicate in the Panmure Business District.

    Investigate and implement new local business opportunities.

  • 3. 500 Permanent jobs in 5 years

    Creating new not for profit business entities and co-designing collaborative sustainable employment opportunities with local agencies both government and community based.

    Recognise and foster innovative and transformational leadership and develop a passionate and supportive administration team.
